Sharon's Hazardous Waste Day (Well, Evening, Really)

The town hosts its annual household waste collection day on Wednesday, June 4, from 4-8 p.m. Residents can drop off items at the DPW, 217R South Main St. 

Non allied-waste customers pay a $5 fee. 

Accepted items from the house include furniture polish, oven cleaners, toilet cleaners, lighter fluid and mercury thermometers. Accepted items from the garage include driveway sealer and antifreeze. For a complete list of accepted, and not accepted, items, visit here.
