Sharon's SAT Scores Rank First in Region

With a combined SAT score of 1775, Sharon ranks first out of 48 schools south of Boston, according to data released by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education published by the Boston Globe. 

Sharon ranked first out of 48 schools with a score of 1775, while Brockton ranked last with a score of 1289.

Other combined scores of neighboring towns include: Walpole (1590), Easton (1601), Norton (1530) and Norwood (1464).

The data also compared average home values of the 48 towns, with Sharon coming in at No. 12 with an average of $419,720, according to the Massachusetts Department of Revenue via The Boston Globe. Cohasset was number one on the list with an average home value of $858,072 and Brockton ranked 48^th with an average home value of $184,364.

Other average home values in neighboring towns include: Westwood ($623,722), Walpole ($404,578), Easton ($370,129) and Mansfield ($360,642).
