SHS Gymnasts prove to be the best team in the League!
The SHS Gymnastics team just won their final dual meet of the season making them Hockomock League Team Champions!
Tonight was a great night for the Eagles! Scoring a season high of 142 points the gymnasts are the top scoring team in the Hockomock League. The evening started out on an emotional note with recognition going out to the only Senior and Captain Dagney Winner (pictured above) for her 4 years of dedication. She also had a fantastic meet, hitting her bar routine with a personal best score of 8.8 and sticking her beam routine with a season high score of an 8.6. Other outstanding performances of the night scoring 9.0 and above were Junior Natalie Maidment on Bars, Beam, and Floor, Junior Rachel Greene on Vault and Floor, Junior Jessica Stead on Floor, and Freshman Darren LePage on Vault. The Hockomock League Championship Competition will be held at Metro South Gymnastics on Revere Street in Canton, MA on Saturday February 7th at 6:00pm.
