SHS Gymnasts on Top
Sharon High School Gymnasts are currently tied for the league title and continue to improve their overall team score!
The Sharon High School Gymnastics team led by coach Dyann Zenga continues to improve and shine in the Hockomock league. Wednesday night the team won the competition against Mansfield High School, and with one more league meet to go for several teams, Sharon has an excellent chance to come out on top. On Saturday they traveled to Shrewsbury to compete in a non-league meet and finished with a high 139.2, improving their top overall team score! The following individual gymnasts deserve recognition for accomplishing high scores of 9.0 and above this season: Junior Natalie Maidment (Bars, Beam, and Floor), Junior Rachel Greene (Vault, Bars, and Floor), Freshman Darren LePage (Vault and Floor), and Freshman Ariana Chabot (Floor). This team is one to keep your eyes on as the season continues. Go Eagles!!!
