Sharon High School Gymnasts Are Undefeated
The SHS Gymnastics team has defeated all their opponents in the Hockomock League!

The Sharon gymnastics team has won every dual meet in the Hockomock League!! The final dual meet of the season was held last night and it was a great night for the 5 Senior leaders (pictured above) with flowers, decorations, and pictures these dedicated athletes were celebrated for their leadership, passion, and commitment. The team beat Westwood with a 137.3. Captain Natalie Maidment topped the all around with a 35.85, achieving 1st place finishes on Bars 9.0 and Beam 9.2, and second place finishes on Vault 8.8 and Floor 8.85. Captain Jessica Stead shined on Beam with a personal best of an 8.7, Floor 8.2, and Bars 7.5 . Pami Greenstein showed her consistent elegance on Beam 7.8 and floor 7.6. Izzy Shapiro lead the team off on bars with perfect form. Captain Rachel Greene was too ill to compete but was there to cheer on her teammates. Underclassman top performances that contributed to the teams total score were: Darren LePage achieving 1st place finishes on Vault and Floor 9.1 and 2nd on bars 8.55; Ariana Chabot with 8.5 Beam & Floor and an 8.2 Vault; Tara Girani 8.4 Vault, and Alice Hermmann 8.2 Bars. This Saturday February 6th at 6:00pm the team competes at Metro South Gymnastics Academy in Canton in the Hockomock League Championships. Come cheer on these dedicated athletes. Go Eagles!!
