Temple Israel Welcomes Leisa Glass as Director of Early Childhood

The Hertz Early Learning Center of Temple Israel Sharon is thrilled to welcome Leisa Glass to our staff as the new Director of Early Childhood Education. Leisa, a resident of Sharon, MA, comes to us with more than 25 years of experience working with children.

Hertz Early Learning Center offers a well-rounded educational experience based on Jewish traditions to children of all faiths and backgrounds. Our warm, nurturing staff will help your child to develop and grow using best education practices. Affiliated with Temple Israel, the program offers various opportunities that encourage the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth of all children. The Hertz curriculum provides a seamless integration of the secular and Judaic environment, with an easy transition to Temple Israel’s youth education programs.

The Hertz Early Learning Center is currently accepting students for both summer and school year programs. The summer program is open to all students aged 3-4 and runs 3 mornings per week for 4 weeks beginning July 10th.

Hertz’s school year program begins September 5th and welcomes children who will be 2.9 on or before September 1st. Flexibility in scheduling is key at Hertz! We offer 2,3,4, and 5 day programs with early drop off options beginning at 7:30am, and extended day options until 6pm. We also offer optional holiday designer days with specialists such as Big Ryan’s Tall Tales, magicians, musicians, visiting animals, and more.
