Water Main Work Starts On Essex Road In Sharon

SHARON, MA — The contractor for the Sharon Water Department is conducting work on the Essex Road water main this week. The work, scheduled to begin Monday, will take place between Webb Road and Garden Street, on and on Clarke Court between Webb Road between Essex Road and the cul-de-sac, town officials say.

Approximately 1,285 feet of a new six-inch ductile iron water main is being installed. Work will also involve gate valves and hydrants.
