Prospect Park is located between Boylston Street and Prospect Street, and a Master Plan working group has met five times since June 2012 to discuss updates.

Kristen Las, town planner, said that a fact sheet will be provided with background on the park, to participants at the meeting.

An excerpt of the fact sheet: "An article on the 2012 May Town Meeting warrant requested that an allocation be made to explore additional well creation in Prospect Park.  At that time, some Town Meeting Members were uncomfortable funding the well exploration without knowing where on the property this would occur.  The article was defeated. Several months after the 2012 Town Meeting, the Town Manager convened a working group to explore the existing conditions at Prospect Park and create a Master Plan for uses including, but not limited to walking trails, cemetery expansion, existing wells, new wells and other passive recreational opportunities."
