Somerville Affordable Housing Lottery: 56 Units At Assembly Row

Applications for the lottery are due in November.

SOMERVILLE, MA – The affordable housing lottery begins this month for 56 units at Assembly Row, available in early 2018. Applications will first be available Sept. 13, and the deadline to apply is Nov. 13 by 2 p.m. The drawing will be held Dec. 7. Somerville will hold information sessions on Wednesday, Sept. 13 and Thursday, Oct. 19 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the East Somerville Community School, 50 Cross Street. Applications will be available at the information sessions or online after Sept. 13. (Click this link for the download page)

Tenants are responsible for paying the full amount of rent, gas (not in tower), electricity, water and sewer each month. No parking spots are included but spots are available for the reduced rate of $50-$75 a month.

Rents are not based on each applicants' income, unless they already have a Section 8 voucher or similar.
