UPDATE: Search For Possible Suspect on Woodland Road Comes Up Empty
MBTA Police originally thought the man, seen wearing fatigues and reportedly carrying a rifle, had boarded a bus, but now believe he remains in the area, according to scanner reports.

UPDATE WEDNESDAY 7:03 P.M.
According to a scanner report relayed on Twitter by Brian J. D'Amico, Stoneham Police and MBTA Transit Police are clearing the scene of the bus stop at 25 Woodland Road, reporting that officers searched the area and did not find anyone matching the earlier description.
Malden Center was also searched, as police initially believed the person boarded a bus.
