Chamber Summer Concert Series: Grand Theft Audio POSTPONED

The July 1st Concert on the Common with Grant Theft Audio has been canceled due to inclement weather.

This week’s Stoneham Chamber of Commerce Summer Concert is a special addition to the Series as the highly popular local band Grand Theft Audio will be performing on Thursday, July 1 in celebration of Independence Day week! Not only will the band rock the Stoneham Common at 7:00 p.m. but the evening will also feature BBQ selections from Catering Boss, free ice cream from Cool Cow Ice Cream (courtesy of presenting sponsor StonehamBank while supplies last), and games and activities for kids provided by MelroseWakefield Hospital and the North Suburban Child & Family Resource Network.

Additionally, this year the Chamber is offering the option to preorder meals, snacks, and dessert through Food rEvolution Kitchen. This week, Grazy Foods’ selection will be a “grazy board” featuring artisan cheeses, Boston Honey Co MA Wildflower Honey and fresh and dried fruit; while Kerry’s Cupcakes this week will be festive Independence Day cupcakes. Orders must be in by noon each Wednesday before the Concert and they will be delivered by the Stoneham Chamber and ready for pickup at the Common. Grand Theft Audio is a Boston area-based Classic Rock band specializing in the sounds of the British Invasion, ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s, with a repertoire of over 100 songs by bands such as The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Who, The Animals, Doors, Eagles, Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Guess Who, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, CCR, Grateful Dead, Bee Gees, Moody Blues, Neil Young, and many more. The band is comprised of seasoned, professional musicians with extensive backgrounds. Band members include Stoneham natives, Neil Porter on vocals and acoustic guitar and Paul Giannelli on guitar, bass, and vocals; plus, Paul Candilore guitar, bass, and vocals, and John DeChristopher on drums, percussion, and vocals, and Charlene O'Neil Porter on vocals. The band performs throughout New England at such venues The BrickYard in Woburn, Palmers in Andover, Feng’s in Wakefield, Oye’s in Saugus, The Red Parrot in Hull, The Lodge in Randolph, and more.

July 8: The Erlenmeyers
Blues, rock, bluegrass, funk, reggae, & honky-tonk

July 15: The Stumps
Blues, funk, and rock covers

July 22: Seabreeze featuring StephenSavio
Italian night with Italian-American standards (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, etc.) & Italian songs

July 29: Joanie Cicatelli & Cool Fuel
Classic cover tunes to modern-day songs

August 5: Munk Duane & Soul Jacker
Old school soul & funk with modern grooves

All concerts will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will end at dusk. The concerts will take place on the Town Common, but in the event of rain the Concert for the evening will be canceled. Please call the Stoneham Chamber of Commerce number at (781) 438-0001 the day of the Concert to check on the location in case of questionable weather.
