Lego Day
Every Friday in July from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. the library hosts Lego Day, an event that encourages kids ages 5 and older to stop by and play with the library's supply of plastic building bricks.Â
Forensic Fun
The library wants to help your child think like a scientist at Forensic Fun, an event that will show participants how to dust for fingerprints, collect DNA, and solve mysteries with science. The event takes place on July 10 from 1-2:30 p.m.
What's the Matter?Â
Your child can learn about the different forms of matter at an event at the library on July 10 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. "What's the Matter" offers a hands-on look at experiments that teach participants about the basic properties of matter.Â
Build and Fly an Airplane
Children in grades 3 to 6 are welcomed to the library on July 8 for the chance to design an aircraft from paper and in doing so will learn the physics behind how planes fly. The event runs from 6:30-7:45 p.m.
