Garden Club Efforts Will Yield Colorful Town Common In Spring

After cleaning up the town common and adding new plants in the spring, the Stoneham Garden Club was back at it Saturday, planting more than 2,000 bulbs on the common.

The club had more than 25 volunteers come out for the effort to produce a beautiful spring. The Garden Club organized the event and the Stoneham Chamber of Commerce generously donated the bulbs. This is the 90th anniversary year of the Stoneham Garden Club.
