Man Driving Moped Wrong Way On Interstate Taken Into Custody

STONEHAM, MA — Police have taken a Danvers man into custody after a multi-town moped ride down two interstates.

A State Police spokesperson said the man, who may have been suicidal, was captured in Medford after driving down I-95 and I-93. An NBC Boston image appears to show the man driving in the wrong direction on I-93.

The man has been taken for evaluation.

There is no threat to the area.
