Man's Grill Stolen from Home
At 4:40 a.m. June 23, Stoneham police responded to Alden Avenue for a report of a larceny in progress, according to a police report. The caller told police that an unknown man just stole a grill from his back deck and fled in an unknown direction, according to the log. A report was taken.
June 23
1:29 p.m.: Police called to Main Street on a report of a motor vehicle accident, according to a police log. Two people declined medical treatment, and two vehicles were towed from the scene, according to the log.

1:51 p.m.: Police responded to Spring Street for a report of a dog hit by a vehicle, according to a police log. No transports logged.
7:36 p.m.: Police responded to Main Street for multiple reports about explosions and smoke coming from a manhole in the area, according to a police log. A box alarm was struck, and NSTAR and Fire crews responded, according to the log.  NSTAR advised firefighters not to put a hose to the manhole to extinguish until they were on scene, according to the log.Â
