Planning Council Takes Spin On The Greenway
MAPC rides Tri-Community Greenway in effort to promote current and potential recreational paths across area.
The Metropolitan Area Planning Council's Summer Greenway Walk and Ride Series was on the Tri-Community Greenway Tuesday, showing off the new recreational path that opened last month.
The ride was part of MAPC's Summer Greenway Walk and Ride Series across MAPC's LandLine vision to connect 1400 miles throughout the Boston Region. According to their website, the purpose of the ride and walk events is to show off new projects, and advocate for completing the missing gaps. The events will educate, entertain, and build the bond between users, designers, planners and advocates to work towards the goal of a connected active transportation network.
