Stoneham Man Arrested on Multiple Warrants

At 4:59 a.m. July 13, Stoneham police responded to a Main Street apartment for a report about a man in the home with outstanding warrants and the caller wanted them arrested, according to a police log. John Bowden, 43, of 544 Main St., Stoneham, was arrested on warrants charging him with misdemeanor breaking and entering, larceny under $250 and receiving stolen property.

July 13

10:04 a.m.: Police responded to the area of Hancock and Pine Streets for a report that two dalmatians attacked and killed a woman's cat on July 12, according to a police log. 

11:59 p.m.: Police called to Franklin Street to check on a suspicious vehicle in the area, according to a police log. The caller reported a suspicious black Honda Civic occupied three times in a rear parking lot, according to the log. Melissa Shields, 21, of 100 Green St., Lynn, was arrested and charged with possession of a class A drug.
