Stoneham Weather: Will the Snow Melt?

A look at Stoneham's forecast for the week.

STONEHAM, MA—The kids were off school today due to the snowy conditions, and while significant accumulations aren’t expected for the rest of the week, we could be dealing with some more wintry weather in Stoneham.

The National Weather Service is calling for a chance of snow showers on both Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. However, accumulations may reach less than an inch on Tuesday and there is not projected to be any further accumulation Wednesday and Thursday.

  • Tuesday: A chance of snow showers, mainly before noon. Cloudy, with a high near 30. North wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
  • Tuesday Night: A chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a low around 19. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
  • Wednesday: A chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a high near 35. West wind 3 to 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
  • Wednesday Night: A chance of snow showers, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 20. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
  • Thursday: A chance of snow showers between 10am and 5pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 30. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
  • Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 25.
