Two Arrests in Police Logs Jan. 2 to Jan. 4

The following information was supplied by the Stoneham Police Department. Charges listed do not indicate convictions.

Jan. 2

7:19 p.m.: The owners of three vehicles moved their cars at police request in order to allow snow removal on Butler Street.

9:25 p.m.: Officers ticketed and towed a car that was blocking snow removal on Hancock Street and Summer Street.

10:17 p.m.: Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated person walking all over the road on Lindenwood Road and Montvale Avenue.

10:30 p.m.: Officers ticked and towed a truck that was blocking snow removal on Chestnut Street.

Jan. 3

11:37 a.m.: The clerk at Famous Footwear kicked a potential shoplifter out of the store.

12:06 p.m.: A caller reported an electrical fire in their truck and put it out with an extinguisher on Gould Street.

5:33 p.m.: A caller reported their furnace was glowing. Officers checked it out and found no issue.

 

Jan. 4

12:13 a.m.: A caller reported smoke and the smell of something burning at 159A

Main Street. Officers confirmed someone burnt food they were cooking.

6:42 p.m.: Officers charged Ryan Filipowicz, 30 of 121 Franklin Street, Stoneham with two counts of driving suspended license and driving without a license.

9:02 p.m.: Officers charged Michelle Caissie, 42 of 6 Middle Street, Stoneham with driving with a suspended registration.
