Two Stoneham Residents Graduate from URI
Find out which Stoneham residents recently graduated from the University of Rhode Island.

A pair of Stoneham residents recently received their undergraduate degrees during the University of Rhode Island's 127th Commencement, according to a press statement.
Kerri McCarthy, of Stoneham, received a bachelor of science degree in Geology and Geological Oceanography while also graduating magna cum laude, according to the statement.
Jocelyn Fraser, of Stoneham, received a bachelor of science degree in Textile Marketing, according to the statement.

McCarthy and Fraser were among the more than 3,200 undergraduates to graduate May 18-19, according to the statement. Seven hundred-seventy graduate students also graduated from URI, the statement notes.
Students who received the honor summa cum laude graduated with a cumulative grade point average (GPA ) of at least 3.7; students who received the honor of magna cum laude graduated with a GPA of at least 3.50; and students who received the honor of cum laude graduated with a GPA of at least 3.3, reads the statement.
