Veterans and Dependents Benefits Info Session Today
Five things about Stoneham you need to know to start off your day.

Five things to know today, Monday, April 29, 2013:
1. Beautiful day. Mostly sunny today with a high near 68, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight, partly cloudy with a low around 44.
2. Veterans and dependents info session at the Senior Center. Evan Makrinikolas from the Mass. Department of Veteran Services will be at the Stoneham Senior Center at 2 p.m. to answer questions veterans or dependents may have concerning benefits. Some of the possibilities are Chapter 115 benefits paid by the State and Town of Stoneham, VA benefits and possibly some information concerning Social Security, SSI, SSDI, and MassHealth.Â

3. Finance and Advisory Board meets at 7:30 p.m. Among the items on the agenda tonight are Warrant Article assignments and Town Meeting Warrant Article reviews.
4. Where do I vote tomorrow? We've got the information you need to cast your ballot in Tuesday's U.S. Senate primary.

5. Wii bowling for seniors. Have fun and brush up on your bowling skills each Monday (except holidays) at 8:30 a.m. at the Stoneham Senior Center. All are welcome. The Senior Center's Wii bowling team frequently participates in tournaments with other Centers and independent living facilities in the area.
