Winchester League of Women Voters Seeks Questions for Candidate Forum
Questions for the Day at the Races Candidate Forum must be submitted by Wednesday, Oct. 17. The questions will be considered for the candidate forum on Oct. 22 from 7-8 p.m. at Stoneham Town Hall.

The Winchester League of Women Voters is hosting a public forum between State Rep. Jason Lewis and candidate George Georgountzos.
The League is seeking questions from Stoneham residents for the Day at the Races Candidate Forum.
The questions will be used at the Candidate Forum on Monday, Oct. 22 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Stoneham Town Hall Auditorium at 35 Central St., Stoneham.

The questions must be submitted to candidatequestions@lwvwinchester.org by Wednesday, Oct. 17.
Residents are invited to watch Lewis and Georgountzos go head-to-head on local issues. If you can't make it, the forum will be aired on WinCAM and Stoneham TV during Oct. 23 and Nov. 5.

Oct. 17 is also the last day to register to vote. If you're not registered in Winchester and will be 18 years or older on or before Nov. 6, register by mail or in person at the Town Clerk's.
Voter registration forms are available at the Town Clerk's Office. They are also available at the Post Office and Stoneham Public Library, and need to be postmarked no later than Oct. 17.
Applications for absentee ballots may be obtained from the Town Clerk’s Office or the Office of the Secretary of State, according to the town's website:

The polls will be open on election day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
