Amazon Hiring 650 People In MA, Most Jobs In Stoughton: Report
These new jobs will be at fulfillment centers and start at $15.25 per hour.

STOUGHTON, MA — Amazon announced it's hiring more than 650 full-time and part-time workers in Massachusetts, and the majority of those new jobs will be at the fulfillment center in Stoughton.
Stephanie Cortez, a spokesperson for the Seattle-based e-commerce giant, told the Boston Business Journal Amazon's new positions will help the company gear up to meet its holiday season demand.
"I think that's just an area that we have noticed that we're able to meet our customer demand and can really focus in on serving in the greater Boston area within Massachusetts," Cortez said about the decision to put most of the new jobs in Stoughton.

Amazon also has fulfillment centers in Holyoke, Everett and Fall River. Cortez said these new jobs will be at the operations level, and pay will start at $15.25 per hour with opportunity for bonuses and career advancement.
