WATCH: Celtics Hold Moment Of Silence For Stoughton Teens
Christopher Desir, Nick Joyce, Eryck Sarblah and David Bell were remembered by the Celtics prior to Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
STOUGHTON, MA — The Boston Celtics took a moment to remember the lives of four Stoughton High School students taken far too early.
The team held a moment of silence for Christopher Desir, Nick Joyce, Eryck Sarblah and David Bell prior to fifth game of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
"We extend our deepest sympathies to the families of those students lost and pray for the recovery of the fifth student who is currently hospitalized," Celtics public addresser Eddie Palladino said prior to the moment of silence.

The four were killed in a car crash in East Bridgewater last Saturday. A fifth person remains in the hospital.
The moment to remember the four students took place after Roland Millen, a teacher at Hansen Elementary School, contacted one of the owners of the Celtics, a Hansen parent told Stoughton Patch. Millen, who used to coach one of the owner's kids in basketball, asked if it could be possible to dedicate Wednesday night's game to the late Stoughton teens or have a moment of silence. That led to Wednesday night's pregame moment.
