Dorchester Man Charged In Stoughton Home Invasion
Stoughton police said Lamar Matthews, 29, broke into a home on Pratts Court and robbed a child at knife point.
STOUGHTON, MA — Stoughton police arrested a Dorchester man they broke into a home on Pratts Court and robbed a child at knife point.
Lamar Matthews, 29, was taken into custody Wednesday and charged with home invasion, armed burglary, armed robbery, breaking and entering at night while armed and armed assault in a dwelling.
The charges stem from a home invasion in January. Police said Matthews and a 17-year-old boy broke in through a window, threatened a child with a knife and robbed the victim.

Police arrested the 17-year-old boy that night, but Matthews remained at large until Wednesday.
Around 5:30 a.m., Stoughton police with the help of Massachusetts State Police and Boston police arrested Matthews at his Dorchester home. Matthew's is being held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing.
