The Dana Barros Basketball Club is scheduled to open Jan. 20.

STOUGHTON, MA — Former Boston College and Boston Celtics star Dana Barros is bringing a new basketball facility to Stoughton.
The selectmen approved a common victualler license for the Dana Barros Basketball Club, to be located at 1776 Washington St. The club currently has a facility in Avon.
During construction, the 35,000-square-foot building received an extra 5,000 square feet to allow for a facility with five basketball courts, offices, concession stands, and event areas. The club will also offer air conditioning, high-tech scoreboards, and video streaming, according to Haynes Group, which is working on construction.
