Former Stoughton Basketball Star Transfers To Big 12 School
Former Stoughton Black Knight Aaron Calixte is leaving Maine to play for Oklahoma University.

A former Stoughton High School basketball standout is transferring to a school in one of the most prominent college athletic conferences in the nation.
Aaron Calixte announced through his Twitter account that he will transfer from the University of Manie to Oklahoma University.
"First off I would like to thank god for putting me in the position I am in today. Without him none of it would be possible. With that being said, I am excited to announce my commitment to Coach Lon Kruger & his staff at the University of Oklahoma!!" Calixte wrote on Twitter.

Fans of the Black Knights will remember Calixte as one of the area's top players during a 2011-12 season which saw him lead Stoughton to a MIAA Division 2 South championship and a trip to the Division 2 state semi-final round. After Stoughton, he played for two seasons at Lee Academy in Maine.
Despite his short stay at Stoughton High School, he still managed to become one of the top scorers in school history, scoring 1,147 points in the orange and black.

Last season, Oklahoma went 18-12 and lost to Rhode Island in the first round of the NCAA Division 1 men's basketball tournament.
