"I am writing to inform you that, at tonight’s School Committee meeting, I tendered my resignation as Superintendent of Schools effective June 30, 2021. While I have been honored to serve this incredible community for the past two years, for personal and family reasons, I will be unable to continue as Superintendent in the coming school year, and will be seeking other opportunities that afford me the time needed to support my family more effectively.

I have truly enjoyed working with and for the Stoughton School Committee, students, staff and families, especially through these unprecedented times. The Stoughton community has proven time and again to be a place of resilience, spirit, and determination. As we dealt with the pandemic and many other issues, both locally and nationally, over the last couple of years, I have only grown fonder of this special place. I thank the School Committee for giving me the opportunity to lead this wonderful district, and I thank the administrators, teachers and staff for their continued dedication to do what is best for each and every student and family each and every day.

I am proud of what we have accomplished in the last two years and, with the collective wisdom of the SPS team and this community, I believe there are great things to come for the Black Knights!

Thank you all so very much."
