Nearly Half Of Stoughton Is In The Dark

STOUGHTON, MA — About half of the town spent their Friday night without electricity.

As of 11:15 p.m. Friday, 6,140 of the 12,699 homes in Stoughton are in the dark, leaving 48.35 percent of the town with no power, according to the National Gird outage map.

There is no estimated restoration time.

Outages were expected as a nor'easter made its way across the area. As of Friday night, there were nearly 485,000 outages between towns serviced by National Grid and Eversource.
