New Ownership Saves Stoughton House Of Brews

Thanks to new ownership, it's possible the Stoughton House of Brews could return within a few weeks.

STOUGHTON, MA — A few months ago, ownership at the Stoughton House of Brews announced the restaurant was closing amid the coronavirus pandemic.

But thanks to new ownership, the popular bar, coffee shop and music venue is expected to return.

According to the Brockton Enterprise, Greg Morgan purchased the Stoughton House of Brews from Leo and Sandra Fay. The Porter Street spot has been closed since March when COVID-19 emergency orders first came into effect.

Morgan is joined by executive chef Rick Gallego and general manager Stephen Dray, and according to the Enterprise, the restaurant will undergo some renovations. The restaurant is expected to start with burgers, steaks, wings, craft beer and infused drinks, but brunch offerings may start at a later date. It's possible the Stoughton House of Brews could return within a few weeks.
