STOUGHTON, MA — A New Jersey man was convicted in federal court after getting caught with around 3,000 grams of fentanyl and cocaine inside storage units he rented in Stoughton.
Carlos Miguel Concepcion-Guilam, 30, was found guilty of possession with intent to distribute 400 or more grams of fentanyl. He's scheduled for sentencing on Oct. 5.
Prosecutors said staff at the storage facility opened two storage units on June 19, 2019, to auction off their contents. In the first one, staff found drug paraphernalia, and in the second one they found nearly two kilograms of fentanyl, drug cutting agents, blenders and packaging materials, prosecutors said. Staff at the facility reported the drugs, and federal agents started surveillance on the storage units to identify the owner of the drugs.
