Obituary: Stoughton Animal Control Officer Michael G. Boundaway

Boundaway's life will be celebrated on June 6 at 3 p.m.

Michael G. Boundaway of Weymouth, formerly of NY, died May 24, 2015 at the age of 44.

Mike worked as the Animal Control Dept. Head for the Stoughton Police Department. Previously he worked at the Wildlife Conservation Society’s Bronx Zoo as the mammal supervisor. Mike had a passion for animals, wildlife, nature, fishing, pirate lore, and history. He earned his Master’s Degree in marine biology.

Beloved husband of Hope (Pinckney) Boundaway. Loving son of Carolyn (Goodliffe) Gormaley of Islip, Long Island, NY and the late Thomas Gormaley. Loving brother of Christine Castonguay of Southington, CT. Grandson of the late George Forbes Goodliffe and Margaret Jean (Paeth) Goodliffe. Also survived by 3 nieces.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Saturday from 2-3 p.m. in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home South Weymouth at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 3 p.m. Donations in memory of Michael may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, PO Box 5028, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
