Police Called For Parent At Stoughton HS Baseball Game

Witnesses say the man yelled at the Stoughton baseball coach and athletic director over his son's playing time.

STOUGHTON, MA — A parent who was reportedly acting in a belligerent manner was asked to leave and had the police called on him.

During the late innings of Stoughton's tournament game against Somerset Berkley Regional High School, a parent of a Stoughton senior began yelling and cursing at coach coach Mike Armour and athletic director Ryan Donahue. Police were called to the scene at about 12:45 p.m. and was removed about 10 minutes late. The father was not cited, according to the Enterprise.

Witnesses told the paper that the man yelled at the coach and athletic director about his son's playing time and said, "You haven’t done (expletive) about making this team better."

The eighth-ranked Black Knights lost their first round tournament game, 3-2.
