Shuttle Bus Replacing Stoughton Commuter Rail This Afternoon

The temporary switch to a shuttle bus is due to positive train control equipment being tested.

STOUGHTON, MA — A shuttle bus is replacing commuter rail services for the 2:15 p.m. train from Stoughton Station today.

According to the MBTA's website, "Train 912 (2:15 pm inbound) will continue to be bused between Stoughton & Canton Jct. The shuttle bus will stop at Rte 128 for drop-off only then travel directly to South Station, without making a station stop at Back Bay, and will arrive around 3:30 p.m."
