Zachary's on the Move
Zachary's will be making it's long anticipated move, ready to open its new, larger location on Wednesday.
The popular breakfast and lunch establishment closed its longtime home at the corner of Washington St. and Brock St. last Friday.
Zachary's will reopen Wednesday, September 4 at 6 a.m. at its new space at 1778 Washington St. in the Planet Fitness Plaza, owner Joe McGovern said.
It's about a 1.5 mile move down Route 138/Washington St.
The new location will have about twice the seating capacity as the old location. Â

Trash Reminder
The following reminder is from the Stoughton DPW:
On Monday, September 2, there was no curbside trash collection in observance of Labor Day. Â Trash collection for Labor Day will be scheduled for Tuesday, September 3, in addition to the regular Tuesday collection. Â This is standard procedure for any holiday.Â
All rubbish and recyclables must be curbside by 7 a.m. on your collection day.Â
Recyclables must be separated as follows: (1) Commingled containers (glass, plastic, aluminum cans, and aluminum foil) and (2) curbside newsprint (newspapers, cardboard boxes, brown paper bags, magazines, phone books, inserts).Â
The DPW is now able to pick up tubeless TV’s and computer monitors with curbside trash but older TV’s and computer monitors with tubes (CRTs) cannot be picked up curbside and must be brought to the transfer station.  Large household appliances (metal items) must be called into the Public Works for appointment for pickup.Â
The Transfer Station is open every SUNDAY from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.Â
