Stoughton Schools Going Remote As Snowstorm Continues Tuesday

The snow disrupted travel, school plans and vaccination efforts across the state Monday.

STOUGHTON, MA —A winter storm rolled into Massachusetts around midday Monday and is expected to last until Tuesday afternoon.

Snow picked up in Stoughton around 2 p.m. Monday, and the town could get several inches of heavy snow when it's all said and done early Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service. But although some snow showers are in the forecast Tuesday, most of the precipitation is expected to be rain and sleet.

The school district will have a remote-only day Tuesday.
