Stoughton Diner Closes Permanently

The Stoughton Diner was supposed to close for the holidays but never re-opened.

STOUGHTON, MA — The Stoughton Diner, a Washington Street restaurant that served traditional diner food as well as West African dishes, has closed permanently. The restaurant was supposed to temporarily close in November through Jan. 13, according to a post on the diner's Facebook page, but it never re-opened.

A new sign outside the restaurant read that the owner has "chosen to move on with other endeavors. I appreciate the time spent here at the diner. Sorry for the inconvenience."

The Stoughton Diner first opened in October 2018 at 756 Washington St. and began as a traditional breakfast diner before expanding to serving West African cuisine on the weekends.
