Stoughton Library Art Showcase: Steven Leahy Headlines December

Stoughton artist Steven Leahy's tiny paintings that fit in the palm of your hand will be displayed at the library for all of December.

STOUGHTON, MA — Every month, the Stoughton Public Library gives local artists a chance to show their work to the entire community. For December, Stoughton High School alumnus Steven Leahy's paintings were chosen for the gallery.

Leahy was born and raised in Stoughton. After graduating high school in 1987, he went on to earn a bachelors in fine art at the University of Massachusetts. He also was the president of the Stoughton Art Association.

Since graduating, Leahy has worked out of his Boston studio and creates small-scale paintings that give the viewer a very close and personal experience with the piece.
