STOUGHTON, MA - A Stoughton man who owned a business in Brockton is taking his apparent disdain for Hillary Clinton to the grave.

South Shore Meats owner Carl F. Crocetti passed away at the age of 62 Sunday evening after a battle with declining health, according to his obituary from Farley Funeral Home. He has asked people not to support the likely Democratic candidate for President.

"Carl requested in lieu of flowers that people elect NOT to vote for Hillary Clinton in the presidential election in November," his obituary read.

Crocetti supported Donald Trump's campaign, according to his son Carlo. He said the request was his father's final wish.

"He was fed up with the direction and leadership of this country that gave him so much," Carlo told Stoughton Patch. "I am trying to honor my father the best way I know how. I won't stop until the Donald sees this and knows how much my father wants to see America great again," Carlo said.

The lifelong Stoughton resident is survived by his son Carlo; wife Catherine; sister Valerie Lewis; and his four grandchildren, Carlo, Julianna, Luca, and Ana Crocetti; and his companion Ann Marie Bonnano.

Funeral prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home in Stoughton on Tuesday, May 10 at 7 p.m. Visiting Hours prior from 4-7 p.m. Interment will be private.

A request to not vote for someone in someone's obituary is not new. In March, a Lynn woman's obituary asked voters to not support Donald Trump.
