Stoughton Program Offers Sports Skills For Kids

The program is meant to give kids a head start in sports fundamentals.

STOUGHTON, MA — The Stoughton Recreation Department is offering a new program meant to help engage children and to prepare them to be young Knights and take on Canton.

The Little Sports Stars program is meant for kids age 3 to 5 and helps them learn the fundamentals of team sports. Soccer, baseball, football and more are the focus of the program.

It will run Fridays, from 11 to 11:45 a.m., between Feb. 7 and Feb. 6.

Each week, the class will get to work age-appropriate skills to develop coordination, agility and the importance of teamwork, according to the department's social media post.
