PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS
Saturday, November 7 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Virtual Card making with Christine. Create unique fall themed cards together via Zoom. Registration required. The library will provide the supplies for registrants via our Front Porch Pickup. The Zoom link will be sent 1 day prior to the program.

Tuesday, November 10 at 7:00pm. Albert Einstein…Relatively Speaking. In this one-hour interactive performance, actor and storyteller George Capaccio invites you to enter the boundary-breaking universe that is the mind of Albert Einstein. Suitable for all ages. Register now to receive the Zoom link 1 day prior to the program. This program has been funded by S.O.L.A. (Support Our Library Association) and with a grant from the Stoughton Cultural Council, an agency that is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

Wednesday, November 18 from 7:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Virtual Book Discussion. This month’s selection is Turkey Trot Murder by Leslie Meier. This book is available at the library as well as electronically on the library’s free Hoopla and Libby apps. Register now to receive the Zoom link 1 day prior to the program.

Thursday, November 19 from 6:30-8:30pm. Wicked Awesome Boston Movies: The Best of Beantown and Beyond. Stoughton’s own film historian Frank Mandosa takes you behind the scenes to movies filmed in our backyard. Register now to receive the Zoom link 1 day prior to the program.

Monday, November 23 from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Virtual Monday Morning Book Chat. Join Christine for an informal discussion and see what else everyone is reading. Enjoy your coffee or tea while connecting with friends and neighbors from the comfort of your home. This is a great way to get suggestions on what to read next! Register now to receive the Zoom link 1 day prior to the program.

Popular history lecturer Dr. Gary Hylander returns with series of lectures about the Federalist Period of our country. These lectures will be recorded and posted on our website later this year. Keep an eye on our website, www.stoughton.org/library for lectures about: The Drafting of the U.S. Constitution, The Presidency of George Washington and The Presidency of Thomas Jefferson.

PROGRAMS FOR TEENS
Thursday November 5 from 6:30-7:30pm. NaNoWriMo: Local Author Angela Howes Talks Self-Publishing. It’s National Novel Writing Month! Spark some creativity and get your self-publishing questions answered at this fun virtual event with Stoughton author Angela Howes. Open to teens and adults. Register for the meeting link.

Tuesday, November 17 from 2:30-4:30pm. Teen Tech Time-Bristlebots & Light up Turkey Robot. Join us for a make & take tech activity! We'll be making Bristlebots and a light up Robot Turkey with paper circuits. Register for the link and to get a kit for the Zoom meeting session. Open to teens in Grades 6-12.

PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN
Tuesdays, November 3, 10, 17, 24 from 10-10:30 am. Family Storytime. Join Ms. Amy and Ms. Stacey for a fun filled family storytime over Zoom! Participants will listen to stories, sing, & dance! Stories are geared towards ages 2-6 but all ages are welcome! Weekly sign-up required. Register online and an email with the Zoom Link will be sent 1 hour prior to the event.

Wednesday, November 4 from 6:30-7 pm. Pajama Storytime. Join Ms. Amy & Ms. Stacey for bedtime stories and songs! Wear your pajamas and bring a stuffed friend. Stories are geared towards ages 2-6, but all ages welcome. This live Zoom event requires pre-registration. The link will be emailed 1 hour prior to the event.

Thursday, November 12 from 6-6:30 pm. Children's Author Event and Storytime. Joy Houlder, author of ‘Calvin Dreams’, will read her picture book and answer questions from young readers and authors. Story is geared towards ages 2-6. Registration required. The Zoom link will be sent via email 1 hour prior to the event.

Monday, November 16 from 4-4:45 pm. Virtual Pumpkin Painting and Decorating with Mandy Roberge. Mandy Roberge of Wicked Good Henna will present a fun 'pointillism' style pumpkin decorating craft just in time for Thanksgiving! This event is for ages 7-11. Registration is required and space is limited. This is a Zoom event and the link will be sent one hour prior to the event. Craft kits will be made available prior to the event via curbside pickup.

Thursday, November 19 from 1-1:30 pm. A Virtual Visit with Mother Goose. Old and new classics read, sung and told by Ms. Deborah A. Goose (a.k.a. Goss) with the occasional assistance of her goose, Honque! Geared towards children ages 2-6 years but all are welcome. Registration required. Links will be sent via email 1 hour prior to the event.

Tuesdays, November 3, 10, 17, 24 from 10-10:45 am OR 11:15-12 pm. Preschool Storytime on the Rocks. Ms. Carol and Ms. Karen of the CFCE, Self Help Inc., will present an outdoor storytime series at Halloran Park. This is a 3 week, in-person, storytime for families of 3-5-year-old children that will include a pre-packaged craft for each child to do on site or for them to bring home per Board of Health guidelines. Weather permitting. Masks must be worn, distancing is required and sanitizer will be provided. Pre-registration required. Thursdays, November 5, 12, 19 from 10:30 am-11 am. Stories in the Park with Ms. Stacey. Join Ms. Stacey on these Thursdays at 10:30 at Halloran Park on Pierce Street, weather permitting. Bring a blanket to sit on. We ask that attendees where masks and observe social distancing while attending storytime. No sign up required.

Saturdays, November 7, 14, 21 from 10-10:45 am. Stories in the Park with Ms. Peggy. Join Ms. Peggy on these Saturdays at 10 at Halloran Park on Pierce Street, weather permitting. Bring a blanket to sit on. We ask that attendees where masks and observe social distancing while attending storytime. No sign up required.
