PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS
Tuesday, December 1, 6:30-8:30pm. Bing Crosby: King of the Christmas Crooners. Join Stoughton's own film historian Frank Mandosa for a behind-the-scenes look at the Oscar-winning actor/singer’s life and career with a focus on his holiday-themed films Going My Way, The Bells of St. Mary’s, and White Christmas! Registrants will receive Zoom link 1 day prior to the program.

Saturday, December 5, 10:00am-12:00 p.m. Virtual Book Page Wreath Making. Join Christine in creating a holiday wreath out of recycled book pages over Zoom. Supplies will be provided for registrants via our Front Porch Pickup.
Thursday, December 10, 6:30-8:30pm. Movies of the 1980s: Totally Awesome or, Like, Gnarly? From Mr. Mom to Mr. T, from Princess Leia to the Princess Bride, from Ridgemont High to Welton Academy, a lot of the movies of the 1980s were considered pretty rad in their time. So, throw those gym shorts on over your sweatpants, grab your boom box, blast ‘What a Feeling’, and moonwalk your way into the Griswold Family Truckster as we go Back in Time to a decade full of big budget blockbusters, teen comedies, heavy dramas, and much more! Doc Brown’s DeLorean time machine will fetch latecomers. Registrants will receive Zoom link via future technology called ‘electronic mail’, 1 day prior to the program.
Saturday, December 12, 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Virtual Card Making with Christine. Join Christine for this virtual version of her card making program for adults. We will create unique holiday cards together on Zoom. The library will provide the supplies for registrants via our Front Porch Pickup.
Wednesday, December 16, 7:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Virtual Book Discussion. Everyone is welcome to join this virtual book discussion. This month's selection is, Winter Street by Elin Hilderbrand. The book is available through at the library as well as electronically on the library's free Hoopla and Libby Apps. It is also on the library's circulating Kindles that are available for check out.
Monday, December 21, 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Virtual Monday Morning Book Chat. Join Christine for an informal discussion to catch up and see what else everyone is reading. Enjoy your coffee or tea while connecting with friends and neighbors from the comfort of your home. This is a great way to get suggestions on what to read next!

Wednesday, December 2 @ 3:30PM Virtual Cooking with Julie - S'mores
Gather your items for your recipe and join Chef Julie as she shows you how to make s'mores in a mug! Open to teens in Grades 6-12. Registration required for links.
Wednesday, December 9 @ 3:30PM Teen Advisory Board
Join us virtually at the interest meeting to learn more about this leadership opportunity and give feedback about upcoming programs in the library! Open to teens in Grades 6-12. Registration required for links.
Wednesday, December 16 @ 3:30PM Teen Tech Time
Register & then pick up your tech kit and join us in a virtual Teen Tech Time meeting! Open to teens in Grades 6-12. Registration required for links to this virtual program.
Thursday, December 17 at 7PM Virtual Gingerbread House Making
Pick up a kit and make Gingerbread houses with Mandy from Wicked Good Henna! Space is limited and registration is required. Open to teens and adults.
PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN
Tuesdays, December 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 from 10:00-10:30 am. Family Storytime. Join Ms. Amy and Ms. Stacey for a fun filled family storytime over Zoom! Participants will listen to stories, sing, & dance! Stories are geared towards ages 2-6 but all ages are welcome! Weekly sign-up required. Register online and an email with the Zoom Link will be sent one hour prior to the event.
Wednesday, December 2 from 6:30-7:00 pm. Pajama Storytime. Join Ms. Amy & Ms. Stacey for bedtime stories and songs! Wear your pajamas and bring a stuffed friend. Stories are geared towards ages 2-6, but all ages welcome. This is a live Zoom event and registration is required. The link will be emailed one hour prior to the event.
Friday, December 11 from 10:00-10:45 am. Small Singers and Shakers Holiday Music.
Stacy Lake of Small Singers and Shakers will present a high energy holiday show with music and instruments on Zoom! Have children bring something to be used as an instrument for a fun 45 minutes of singing and dancing! For ages 0-5. Registration required-this is a Zoom event and the link will be sent via email one hour prior to the start time.
Wednesday, December 16 from 6:30-7:00 pm. Polar Express Storytime. Wear your pajamas, listen to a reading of Chris Van Allsburg's The Polar Express and get a take and make craft to do at home! Story and craft are geared towards ages 4 and up, but all ages of children are welcome with a caregiver. This is a Zoom event and sign up is required! The link will be sent via email one hour prior to the event.
Thursday, December 31 from 11:30am-12 pm. Noon-Year's Eve Storytime Party for Kids. Join Ms. Amy and Ms. Stacey for a fun countdown to Noon Years Eve! We'll read books and sing songs celebrating New Year's and have a countdown to 12 Noon for little ones! Recommended for ages 3-7 but all ages are welcome with a caregiver. Registration is required and space is limited. This is a Zoom event and the link will be sent one hour prior to the event. Craft kits will need to be picked up prior to the event using curbside pickup.
