Stoughton Special Olympian Joins Revs For Unified Clinic

For a second straight year, Shawn Barton​ got the chance to take part in the clinic with New England Revolution players.

STOUGHTON, MA — A Stoughton Special Olympian joined the New England Revolution and Special Olympics Massachusetts in a training session and photo shoot last month with New England Revolution soccer players. For a second straight year, Shawn Barton got the chance to take part in the clinic, which had players like goalkeeper Cody Cropper leading 12 Special Olympians through drills.

The Special Olympics Unified Clinic, aims to develop and strengthen the existing bonds between members of the Special Olympics Massachusetts and the New England Revolution players and promotes inclusion within sports.
