Stoughton Weather Update: Uncertainty In The Forecast

Just as the area was recovering from Friday's nor'easter, here comes another storm.

STOUGHTON, MA — The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Wednesday. Snow is expected to accumulate in the range of 2 to 4 inches in Stoughton, with snowfall starting late Wednesday morning and continuing into Thursday afternoon. It could mix with rains at times, so get ready for a heavy, wet snow.

The NWS noted that Stoughton is in an area where they have high uncertainty in their snowfall predictions due to where the rain/snow line falls. The NWS' forecast has changed multiple times in the last few hours, with the projection going as low as 4 inches to as high as 8 inches due to temperature shifts.
