Stoughton's Lori McKenna Picks Up 4 Grammy Nominations
The Stoughton native has a chance to add four trophies to her collection.

STOUGHTON, MA — Stoughton's favorite songwriter has a chance to add more trophies to her collection, and this time it's for her her own song and album.
Lori McKenna earned four Grammy nominations last week. Humble and Kind, performed by Tim McGraw and written by her, was nominated for Best Country Song. That was the only nomination in the Country category for McKenna, who has one more in the American Roots category and two in Americana.
Her song Wreck You was nominated for Best American Roots Performance and Best Americana Song and her album the Bird and the Rifle was nominated for Best Americana Album.

Over the past few years, McKenna has established herself as one of the elite country songwriters. McKenna won the last two Country Music Association awards for Song of the Year for penning Humble and Kind this year and Girl Crush by Little Big Town last year. Girl Crush also won the Grammy for Country Song of the Year.
