Stoughton's Lori McKenna Wins Another Big Award

McKenna was named the ACM Songwriter of the Year.

Lori McKenna has another trophy to add to her collection.

The Stoughton native was named the Songwriter of the Year by the Academy of Country Music Friday night.

McKenna continues to be one of the biggest songwriters in country music. Her song “Humble and Kind” was performed by Tim McGraw and won Song of the Year at the 2016 CMA Awards and Best Country Song at the 2017 Grammy Awards.
