Stoughton's Lori McKenna Wins Grammy For Best Country Song
For the second year in a row, the Stoughton resident has taken home the award for best country song.

STOUGHTON, MA — It's another Grammy for Stoughton's Lori McKenna!
The local songwriter once again won the Grammy for Best Country Song, picking up a trophy for the Tim McGraw song "Humble and Kind." As the songwriter, McKenna is the recipient of the award.

The win is McKenna's second in a row in the category, winning last year for Little Big Country's "Girl Crush."

Her song "Wreck You" was up for Best American Roots Performance and Best American Roots Song, but lost to "House of Mercy"by Sarah Jarosz and "Kid Sister," written by Vince Gill and performed by The Time Jumpers.
Her album "The Bird & The Rifle" was up for Best Americana Album, but the award went to "This Is Where I Live," by William Bell.
