Stoughton's Lori McKenna Wins Song of the Year at CMA Awards
It's the second year in a row that McKenna has won the Country Music Association award for Song of the Year.

STOUGHTON, MA — Time to find more space on the trophy shelf.
Wednesday night, Stoughton native Lori McKenna won the Country Music Association award for Song of the Year for penning the Tim McGraw song Humble and Kind. She beat out Die a Happy Man by Thomas Rhett, My Church by Maren Morris, Record Year by Eric Church, and Burning House by Cam.

The Song of the Year award is given to the songwriter rather than the performer.
