Thanksgiving Football: Stoughton Visits Canton
The Stoughton Black Knights will continue their 94-year rivalry when they faceoff against the Canton Bulldogs on Thanksgiving.
STOUGHTON, MA — The Stoughton High football team will take on Canton for the 94th time in the rivalry's history as part of a big Thanksgiving Day of athletic celebration at Canton High School's WWII Veterans' Memorial Field. Game time is at 10 a.m.
The Stoughton Black Knights enter the game at 8-2 and will face off against a red-hot Bulldogs team that won nine straight games to start the season before a loss to Holliston in the playoffs on Nov. 15. Stoughton has won five of their last six games and is coming off a 28-21 victory against Walpole on Nov. 15. Stoughton will be looking for revenge after losing to Canton 10-0 on Sept. 27.
Gates open at 9 a.m. with tickets $10 for adults, $5 for senior citizens and children 8-and-under free.

The access road on the Canton campus will be shut down from the top of the hill by the American Hill Hall to the lower parking lot from 9:30 a.m. until the end of the game. Anyone parking on the upper campus will only be able to use the main entrance and exit, while anyone parking on the lower lot will be able to enter and exit through Reynolds Street.
