Winter Warm Up Coming to Stoughton Next Week

STOUGHTON, MA - A week after temperatures and weather usually associated with winter, Stoughton is in for a warm up.

Sunday’s temperatures could hit the high 40s. After that, we’re looking at three more days in the high 40s and low 50s, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures have hit the 40s this week, with thermometers nearly cracking 50 on Tuesday.

As of the current forecast, the warm weather will stay at least through mid-week.

Here’s the latest forecast through Wednesday, according to the NWS:

• Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 39 and low around 29.
• Friday: A slight chance of showers between 1 and 2 p.m. Otherwise, cloudy with a high near 39 during the day. The evening is expected to be cloudy before clearing with a low of 25.
• Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 39 during the day and mostly cloudy with a low of 30 in the evening.
• Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 48 during the day and mostly cloudy with a low around 36 in the evening.
• Monday: Mostly cloudy with a high near 50 during the day, with a chance of showers before 9 p.m. The rest of the night will be mostly cloudy with a low around 37.
• Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 49 and a chance of rain at night. The evening should be mostly cloudy with a low of 36.
• Wednesday: A 50 percent of rain with a high near 52.
